ABOUT ME

Disease Ecologist

I am a research scientist in the Epidemiology and Surveillance Support Unit at Anses, the French National Agency for Food, Environment, and Occupational Health and Safety in Lyon, France. I primarily research syndromic surveillance in animal health -- including ways to improve surveillance systems and the models used for analyzing the data they produce, as well as providing support for a range of projects in epidemiology.

I received my PhD in Interdisciplinary Ecology at the University of Florida in 2018
studying the various effects of anthropogenic change on bats, the bacteria and viruses they host, and potential pathogen transmission to humans using field studies, molecular techniques, and modeling.
